Coach Dresser has intentionally scheduled this way in the past.


When you schedule duals back-to-back like that, it's an experience similar to the NCAA Tournament.

If you have a good run in the NCAAs, you're wrestling a bunch of matches (multiples each day) and you have to weigh in under your weight limit every day (or every session?) as well. Zach Epperly finished 3rd at the tournament last year and wrestled 8 matches in 2.5 days to get there. (The tournament is a 3-day affair, with morning and evening sessions. The Saturday night session only has the 10 championship matches.)

The Saturday night/Sunday afternoon setup is helpful for people coming in from out of town as well.
